  2. Adam Wainwright is Back!

    Last night the St. Louis Cardinal game was filled with strikeouts, homers, steals and errors. Adam Wainwright struck out six in seven innings to beat the Pirates 10-7. He threw fastballs and his signature curveball. Adam has not pitched since September 24, 2010, when he became a 20-game winner. But, 5 months later, he needed elbow surgery.   4. Mayor Declares "St. Louis Blues Day"

    St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay declares Friday, April 27, 2012, today, as "St. Louis Blues Day"! Wear "Blue" today. The mayor says that he is very proud of our team and wants to wish them good luck in the second round which begins on Saturday at Scottrade. Francis Slay, as well as all Blues fans, are happy with their 30 home wins and their franchise record this year. So to celebrate, "Wear Blue everywhere"!

  5. Three Possible Trophies

    The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that the St. Louis Blues may win 3 possible trophies this year. First, Doug Armstrong may receive the Jennings Trophy, for NHL Manager of the Year. It is really a team award accepted by the goalies. Secondly, David Backes may receive the Selke Trophy for the league's top defensive forward.
